Originally opened in 1938 by Harold James, the shop specialized in selling custom blended pipe tobacco and pipes. When Adam bought the business in 1993, he shifted the business toward premium cigars and accessories. Word rapidly spread that Doc James Tobacco Shop was the place in Northern Westchester to purchase high quality, top-notch cigars. Doc James Tobacco flourished. |

owning Doc James for 10 years, Adam decided to combine his love of golf with his love of cigars. His partner in this new venture would be his wife, Heidi, an experienced golf buyer and merchandiser.

Strong consumer demand prompts Doc James to move from its original storefront into a modern 1,000 square foot space. Humidified display cases house premium cigars beside small sitting area where patrons can relax and enjoy their smoke. Continue through the store and enter the golf shop, behind a glass patio door. Apparel and equipment is strategically displayed, utilizing every square foot. |
